2011 - Day 28

Dad and I went to the funeral service of a member from our Church ... He had been 95, and one of those lucky enough to have been rescued from the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940.

Two Sundays ago, he got ready for Church, made a cup of tea and waited for his lift ... only to wake up in Heaven instead.

He was a lovely man, and the service was a fitting tribute to him, held at the Chapel at Newton Abbot Cemetary.
