Day 30- A song that you haven’t listened to in awhile

I realised that with all the songs I have listened to and thought about during this meme, one group I hadn't listed was one of those that I love the music of - and is a huge influence in the growth of the 60's ... and of "pop" music in general - The Beatles.

This song is one that I have always loved, but the accompaniament also reminds me of one of the Ghost of the Robots tracks, with the off-beat clapping.  So, here is "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"  (weird to notice the left handed playing by Paul McCartney!)
The song starts at 30secs -

As to a James song I haven't heard in a long time - it would have to be "Goodbye" whis was on the GotR EP Valerie, and I have on one CD that I don't often listen to!

So - That's all for this meme ... Hope you have enjoyed one or two of the songs I have picked over the 30 days.

you have such a great list of music in the last 30 days. Some I knew others didn't. But enjoyed listening to them.

As for the James song today Goodbye I don't think I heard that one. Is it somewhere on youtube or something so I can listen to it?

Glad you enjoyed them.

LOL - At about 2.12 -
It's not one of my favourites - but, it is James!

Oh boy I am a bad fan I couldn't remember the title of the song as Goodbye *hides in shame* LOL.

I have that one on my computer but I didn't know the title. I like that one.

Mind you, it doesn't help when he changes the name as he did with one or two!

I hadn't realised I had heard him sing it until I saw that video - but it was at Union Chapel a couple of years ago.

I love The Beatles! They're so great because their music transcends generations. Both my parents and I love listening to them! And if I do have kids, I'll make sure they listen to them, too! :P

The Beatles have some really "fun" songs ... even my parents (in their 80s) like!

It's interesting, now that I think of it. Music-wise, I've definitely gone through the phases and trends in my life, but I've always liked The Beatles, and I still do!

There is something about The Beatles - the girl who commented directly above you is only 16, yet loves them, as well.
