Toni had put a mains-cable fencer out to his field and she and her husband had watched him leaning on it trying to break it. They could hear the "crack" from quite a way away - but, DJ was still determined to push his luck ... and the wire!
Anyway - when I brought him in I do think his main was a bit curlier than normal - whether that's due to the regular plaiting, or the regular electricity, is anyone's guess!
Toni took Junior and we went out for a ride - It was good to be out - and having a chat. Although we see each other a lot, we don't always get time to get caught up with our families news etc.
So we were out for about an hour - plenty of traffic around ... that is the disadvantage of the good weather - more holiday makers around! So more cars on the road. The locals call the tourists EMMETS - which is a Cornish word and means ant. This is to show how the roads get clogged with the streams of traffic! Still, without them, we don't survive!!
Once back, it was time for a sponge-down and a feed before back to his field - with the reminder to stay put!!
