I think most of you know as much about me as you need to - and thus you know my hobbies!
I suppose the one I can talk about are jig-saws ... just so that I don't fudge this answer, like I did yesterday!
JIGSAWS
I started doing them as a baby - and when we were kids we had a huge box of them, and the 3 of us would have speed competitions on wet afternoons. My favourite was a view of Butlins swimming pool with 300 pieces, and I did it so many times that I think I could eventually know where each piece went anyway!
Since then I have progressed - my favourite size is 1,000 piece as it is such that I can move it, and reach each side. I always do puzzles on sheets of hardboard that slide under a bed, or settee when not being worked on.
I have done Impossipuzzle (baked beans) ones, silver foil ones, double sided ones and Wasgijs ... as well as "normal" ones. Unlike Mum I prefer unusual picyures - she likes the traditional cottage scene - I love anything.
At present I have-
1) - 1,000 here of a cartoon beach scene.
2) - 3,000 here of a painting done by Monet (that is going very slowly!)
3) - 1,000 in Bude of a pair of Dray horses delivering to a pub.
