They were catching a ferry for Spain for their holidays - Oh I wish I was going, as it must be warmer there!
Anyway, they live in Exeter which is a city about 55 miles South East of me and the ferry went form Plymouth which is about 50 miles South West of me ... with about 40 miles between the two. I drove to Exeter - to get there at about 9.30am meant I left here just after 8 ... and don't forget I had to take Jiffy walkies before that! Then Tim drove to Plymouth - he is claustraphobic - hence, no planes, but he gets stressed about most travelling - and once I had made sure they were "on their way" I headed back home, which again takes about 1 1/2 hours. So a busy morning - doing nothing, travelling a long way and ending up where I started ... Who can say they have had such a productive time ... Still James kept me company reading to me ... so there was one good thing about the trip (Thanks Carolyn!!) But it was a pity I couldn't have just borrowed the Tardis!
