Harry Dresdon & Faith Lehaine

... What do those two have in common?

Shall I leave you guessing ... "Answers on a postcard" ...

Or

No, I'll tell you!

I am re-reading the book "The Winds of War" by Herman Wouk, which I haven't read since the mid 80s, when I also saw it on TV.

Anyhao today I read quite a bit (I had a quiet afternoon at work) - and read these 2 phrases.  Both of them were ones that I had only heard/read Faith and Harry (respectievly) say:-

"Five by five"

"Stars and Stones"

Maybe they are common used American phrases, but they aren't ones I hear elsewhere!
