dirtyI think DJ was pleased to see me, as it had been some time since I had been ... in other words, some time since his carrots! And in the time, his field had been "topped", so that would have been fraught for him.
Once groomed and tacked, Toni & Smudge, Ros & Shadow , and us 2 went up the road and round the block - and gave the local flies a treat! I had tried buying fly-spray, but it is a non-existant commodity .... Hope to get some tomorrow for him. DJ doesn't suffer as much as the others, but it is still a pain for him.
Still, as we didn't go far. it meant he was not too hot, and once he had been fed, he could get out to his field ... and down to roll, so he was happy ... and dirty, again!
