As I have already posted, my Monday morning was weird - in fact it got even weirder as I had a phone call from a friend's partner to say her mother had died suddenly over the weekend.
Anyway, one of my many things I have actually got done this morning is paid some orchestra bills at the Town-Council offices ... so thought you would like to see the building. It was originally the home built by Sir Goldsworthy Gurney (a Victorian inventor .... his lights were in The Houses of Parliament).

The obelisk in the foreground is our Millenial "thingy" - and is made of Bude colours - sea, sand, blue sky and is in the shape of the lights invented by Sir Golgsworthy Gurney to be used in the Cornish Tin Mines.
