Odds And ... Ends!

Just a small catch-up.

I had blood tests today, again, but if that doesn't get anywhere, then I shall takemad_brilliant_s advice and persue food allergies.  At least she has given me another way to go, which the doctor was running out of!

The snow has basically gone here, even if a few miles up the road is a different story!  I shall have a nasty drive to Plymouth on Friday if this continues .... but at least most of the main roads are open, and hope to stay that way.

Over the last few evenings I have done a jig-saw that I had for Christmas.  Most people like cute scenes, but as you can see, I do a variety of them - This is the latest -




Toni bought me that as one of a pair - the other is just Tiggers!

And, if you are still feeling those February-blues, she also sent me the following e-mail :-

BOB AND THE BLONDE
                                                                  
Bob, a handsome dude, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm and sat down next to a blonde.   The news was about to start and so they both looked up at the TV above the bar.                
                                                                           
The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.  The blonde looked at Bob and said  'Do you think he'll do it ?'                                                                                                                                
Bob says  'You know what, I bet he will jump.'                                                                
The blonde replied  'Well, I bet he won't.'                                                               

Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said  'You're on!'

Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building,

falling to his death.  The blonde was very upset but, without grudge, handed her $20 to Bob, saying 'Fair's fair.  Here's your money'.   

Bob replied  'I can't take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5pm news and so I knew he'd jump.'   The blond responded  'I did too but I didn't think he'd do it again.'  

Bob took the money !!
