happyJust a quick note to say that I hope no one did anything too exciting ... and then posted about it over the weekend, as I would have missed it.
It has been a great weekend - but hectic.
I picked up my new car - its 6 months old, 2,500 miles on the clock ... and small, so should be cheep to run. A complete change from the coupe I had - but that in itself is good ... and who knows what's round the corner - In a year I may have enough to up-grade to a sports car!
Cleaned the house for Mum and Dad - this is something I am going to try to do, to take the pressure off Mum. She does a lot for me, and this is the least I can do.
She andd I went out Saturday to the shops - and didn't buy anything (well she bought some sweets!), then when we got back some friends had popped in.
I then went out to dinner in the evening - at the house of one of the elders at our Chapel. since he has retired, he likes experimenting - we had a choice of menu as well! Got back in at 1 am! They had 4 of us from CXhapel - so that's a nice number of people.
My Sundays are always busy - with Church, and Jiffy walking, to name but some of it ... Then back here (still to a cold house btw)
Well, that gets you back up to date - but thought I would leave you with this picture of Jiffy I took just as I was going to Church ... he had got on my bed and curled up, so I folded the eiderdown ...
