K9 & Cyberman

Have A Good Weekend Everyone

I can't believe that it's 3 months since I said Goodbye to Jiffy ... I still look for him on my subconscious thoughts. Still, when I got flowers from work for him my first thought was I would ring Mum & Dad and tell them ... yes, those I love are still in my heart & life

Another bright day here - just walked up to the post office to send a birthday pressie for Nick ... can't believe he will be 55 as I remember the night he was born. No wonder I can't realise that Mum, Dad & Jiffy are gone ... I don't seem to be able to work out days/months/years!!

After posting Nick's parcel to him I went to the supermarket to pick up some bits & pieces .... flour, milk, tomatoes (and may have picked up a pair of cream eclaires as well!).

Anyway as last week I am going to post 2 days of questions before signing off (although may end up switching back on to do the Snowflake Challenge depending on when it gets posted. So -

23. Who are the five people you spend the most time with?

LOL - people from work! Although I do see Tim & Claire in one of our front gardens if they (or I) walk that way round.

But normally it would be Christine (friend who we meet up sight-seeing), Brenda (Nick's wife, who we meet up sight-seeing), Tim & Claire and Toni ... and people from work!

24. How do you feel about getting old?

Do they realise it's a big birthday coming up this year????

I hate slowing down, but that is proably more to do with the CFS than age. I suppose I am glad I am still here and able to live life, when so many people die so young.
Adventure before dementia

Snowflake Challenge #12

Challenge #12

In your own space, resurrect an old meme. Have fun with it! Which is the goofiest meme you can think of? Put on your party hat and be silly!! Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

I used to do these from time to time, and certainly a great way to spend some moments (when you should be doing something else ... like housework!

So I did this one, that was one of the ones suggested -

You as the Dewey Decimal System

Deborah's Dewey Decimal Section:

041 [Unassigned]

Deborah = 4525818 = 452+581+8 = 1041

000 Computer Science, Information & General Works

Encyclopedias, magazines, journals and books with quotations.

What it says about you:
You are very informative and up to date. You're working on living in the here and now, not the past. You go through a lot of changes. When you make a decision you can be very sure of

yourself, maybe even stubborn, but your friends appreciate your honesty and resolve.

Find your Dewey Decimal Section at Spacefem.com

LOL - no, I live in the past, and can not make decisions at all!

So, as well as doing that I also went over to Blogthings and looked at What Flavor Jam Are You?. I do love Plum Jam as my #1, but ........

You Are Cherry Jam

You are delightfully quirky, and even once people think they've got you figured out, you surprise them with a whole new side of yourself.
You have a larger than life reputation that often precedes you. Up close, you're still fabulous, but you insist on keeping it real.
You are quite sensitive, and easily bruised. However, you have a strong inner core, and you bounce back in no time.
You like to surprise others in life, especially yourself. You like to make each day a little adventure

Ironically I don't like Cherry Jam, however that is probably closer to who I am.

Well that was a fun way to waste some time on a Saturday afternoon!
