Eternal refuge

Oooops!

So much for being positive at the end of last week - I had a really bad weekend.

It so annoys me that I end up going in circles on one of two "nightmares"  -  This weekend being personal ... still, at least it stopped me worrying about work!

Anyway, my Bible reading this morning was good - and the version I am reading is divided into days, with a thought for the day at the end - and I was (yet again) reminded that life is good, because God is good.

So, a positive start to the week - and lets hope it continues.

Albania Pic Scam 2

I have suddenly realised that I never put the pics up from the other half of our day in Albania .... We visited the UNESCO protected site of Butrint.

According to the Roman writer Virgil its legendary founder was the seer Helenus, a son of the king Priam of Troy, who had married Andromache and moved West after the fall of Troy. The Greek historian Dionysius of Halicarnassus, as does the Latin poet Virgil, wrote that Aeneas visited Bouthroton after his own escape from the destruction of Troy.

For any of you who are interested there is a pretty comprehensive Web Site that gives the full history.

Love Hearts - February 2010

Information has just come through - via http://www.jamesmarsters.com/

LOVE HEARTS
Cupid's arrows will be flying as James Marsters heads to the UK next year for an early Valentine's Day weekend in London on February 6-7, 2010.

Details of a concert and exclusive one-day event will be announced on Sunday, November 8, 2009, at 16.00 (GMT time).

I only now have to hope that the day event will be on the Saturday - it would be great if it were similar to last May, as that was fun.  The American concert, for the following weekend, will also be announced on that day, and they say tickets will be on sale the following day, but don't say when the GB tickets will be up ... so I am presuming the same.

P.S.
