1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.
So - here are the questions she asked .... and the replies are under the cut.
1. Favorite Buffy episode!
2. What was the last letter you wrote (not email, but real live post-marked mail)?
3. What's the best thing to do on a rainy day?
4. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
5. Out of the summer blockbusters, which movie would you most like to see?
What a hard question!
I love School Hard, Something Blue, Once More With Feeling and Chosen.
However I think the favourite would have to be Touched.
As you can see, they are all Spike episodes - but in Touched he gets his crumb form Buffy ... and there is that lovely speach that sums up true love i any relationship ... James does an amazing job there.
I also like that when you see them resting you see 2 warriors just lying at peace, looking into each others eys - true depth of feeling. But you then see Spike in his role of protector of his love ... then you see Buffy giving Spike that same care.
The rest of the episode is fast paced - with other relationships resolved - but to me that is a real Spuffy episode - and therefore my favourite.
2. What was the last letter you wrote (not email, but real live post-marked mail)?
When I finish this I am going to write a couple of letter - to an Aunt and to a friend who used to go to the same Church that I went to when we were teenagers.
However - the last letter I wrote was on Monday evening at Orchestra practice!! We have a concert in a couple of weeks and are doing an Organ Concerto that I am not playing in - so I sat and wrote a letter ... on the back of a rehearsal schedule as I didn't have any paper with me!
It was to a friend who has just had her first baby (at the age of 35) and she had sent me a text the previous day to say they had been rushed to a specialist Baby Hospital as the baby had heart problems. So, as you can imagine ... a very hard letter to write.
3. What's the best thing to do on a rainy day?
Depends!
If I was a good girl I would say cleaning - there is always something to do.
But that can be boring - so I will also do some reading!
If I had organised to ride, I still would. Although my previous horse Jaykub was never pleased to have to work in the rain - DJ doesn't mind.
If I am on holiday - trip to a museum.
4. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
Just love vanilla ... or mint.
5. Out of the summer blockbusters, which movie would you most like to see?
I so rarely go to the cinema, I don't check to see what's out!
It is an hours drive - and being single, I can't be bothered!!!
The last film I saw was Pirates 3 ... but I will go and see Dragonball when it is out (I was going to see PS I Love You) - but that was here when I was injured, so driving was a pain - and as I wasn't working ... no money.
I am looking forward to seeing Indiana Jones ... on DVD!!
