Wells Cathedral

As I said I went to Wells Cathedral last week, and it is certainly an amazing building.

Built in 1175, although the font was from an earlier Church built in 766.  The clock was added in 1386, with the same knight being knocked off his horse every houre since then.  The scissor arches were added in 1338 as it was seen that the tower was collapsing ... so an amazing repair.
