Winter Has Returned ....
... Cold, but no snow here.
I do love snow but have always lived in areas where we don't get much. However, as you can see by the icon, occasionally there have been odd days, to enjoy the snow. The positive side is that it's usually a bit warmer, so we don't get the super-scary ice. That's not fun at all.
I managed to collect my prescription yesterday - but even that got complicated. I got in from work about 1.45, and didn't go to the chemist then as it was lunchtime ... so went down about 3, only to find that the pharmacist was out, and I then had a 1/2hour wait before I could get it (luckily I had actually thought ahead and had my Kindle with me. So, next month I shall order extra early (and then probably getting the doctor telling me that it's too early to order them!)
Work was odd today - over 2 hours into the clinic we were running late (which is unusual), and some very odd people. I was sure it was going to be a late finish, and then it suddenly all fell together, and I actually got home early!
Now I am going to make some icons, and clean another of my kitchen cupboards .... But, before I do that -
16 – Nothing Day: Should we observe this day by not asking a question? Is it literally possible to do nothing?
Ironically yesterday I did have a lazier than normal afternoon ... but can never just do nothing.
17 – Ditch New Year's Resolutions Day: Do you make New Year's resolutions? If so, how successful are you at keeping them?
Never do ... and never have.
Right, let's get on ... I may even look at answering one of the Snowflake questions.
