Day Off

... and I had a good morning overall.

I went to visit my ex-next-door neighbours from Torquay.  It was good to catch up with Chrissy who is my age, and we ended up chatting outside for just under an hour.  Heather had a major set-back a couple of weeks ago and now sleeps a lot of the time.  However I did sit and chat to her for about 1/2 hour before she began to snooze ... although as I was leaving I passed the carers arriving.  She has them in 4 times a day, however after over 2 years of being bed-bound Heather still has entact skin which menas her routine is working, so that's really positive in the midst of the sadness of seeing her like.

As it was all but lunchtime now I decided to get a paked ptatoe and then do some shopping before heading home.  I also looked at dresses as I still haven't decided what dress to wear for the wedding I am going to in August.  As it's in Portugal I can't wear the dress that I have for Andrew's wedding, or the one that I wore for my 60th last year, as they will be too hot.

So now shopping is done and packed away ... and I am here briefly, before heading downstairs to write a bit more of my holiday journal ... I am so far behind.

Hope you are all well ... off in a minute ...

15. What are the best and worst things about aging?
Stiffness, and knowing that every day lived is an advantage, but every day lived is one less available for me.
However, I have never followed fashions, but now people don't expect me to!
