Castle Drogo - As Promised

As I said I had a great time at Castle Drogo - the last castle built in England. It is, as you see, on the edge of Dartmoor .... enjoy

The gardens are lovely - even though, at present we were a bit early in the season -

Like many of the larger houses, it has it's own Chapel -

So. here is the actual buidling ... and some of it's rooms -

Te memorial room to their son who was killed, and is buried, in Ypres during WWI
