OOoops - A Missing Day!
Well tonight we lose an hour, and my LJ update was missing a day ... so I suppose that works out well!
I had an amazing time at Toni & Pete's ... so lovely to see them, and chat with Toni for "a few" hours! I also got to feed the horses, which was nice. Years of working with, and owning, horses and I now miss the "fun" ... and carrots certainly dissappear when a horse is involved! Anyway I was much later back than I had planned, but that was OK.
Yesterday I worked, and the clinic went well ... and then I did 3 hours of admin. So all in all by the time I got home I was flagging ... and an early night was called for.
I am so, so positive though. Even though yesterday evening I was shattered, I still didn't "collapse" and all in all I am really pleased with how I coped with what was a busy week. So it looks as if I have taken another step on the long road ... and I promise I will be a good girl and not overdo things.
Having said that I did a 4 mile walk this morning and washing is on the line ... so ironing is needed soon. But I will have a lazy evening.
So, as I said - I owe you yesterday, and as ever will do tomorrow ....
25. Does the modern age make global conspiracies more or less feasible?
Bit of both!
It's easier for the consriracy theory people to keep in touch and spread the rumour ... but it's also easier to find out other sides of the story.
26. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
I suppose speaking to one of the patients this week about part of his job ... sorry, can't say what or who. But it was fascinating to meet someone of that profession.
27. Have you ever been fired from a job?
Almost! I had a Saturday job when I was at college and they tried getting rid of all Saturday staff - I was the only one that had a manager fight for me!
For the rest of my life I have always been self-employed ... so it's hard to sack yourself! Although I did close an osteopathic practice twice in the 28 years I was practicing.
I have some icons to post in a moment when I do the last one! But then the pc will be off until Monday - Have a good weekend x
