Washing Was Out
.... Yes, it was a lovely morning and although my garden still needs a fence, and also a lot of cleaning/sorting/etc, it was so lovely to hang out washing this morning - you can't beat line-dried clothes IMHO ... and it's truly eco-friendly, which is an added plus.
So that was how I started my day (in fact they are all now on my airer in my conservatory, and other than a sweat shirt everything is fully dry (but that means I have ironing to do as it was bedding). Anyway, once the washing was out, I walked to Tesco ... shopping and then a wait for the bus home. I don't know waht was happening with the buses but I have never had that long a wait ... still, I had my Kindle, and water, with me, so a nice break in the sunshine. When the bus came it was a further wait, ironically, but when I rang the bell for the bus and walked to the front (where I had left all my shopping), the drivver asked which side of the stop I needed ... it's bizarre but the stop is right on the corner near a roundabout. So I just said anywhere as my house was just along here ... so he said which one, and I said red car ... so he pulled up literally outside ... a door-to-door service!
Now I am going to try to sort out how I am going to do the challenges for a couple of icon communities I join in with ... but, as ever, before I go ...
5. How far should a government go to prevent its citizens from causing harm to themselves?
Sadly, if someone wants to harm themselves, or someone else, there is no real answer. Cynical, maybe, but sadly true.
6. If time travel is possible, would we have met time travelers already?
Shouldn't think so ... what's special abbout the early 2000's!
Right that's me .... have a super weekend, see you Monday x
