Thanks! These bring back good memories of my own visit to Prague, around 10 years ago. (Except I skipped the cathedral.)

I loved the cathedral, but there were a couple in the group who hadn't wanted to go, but were in the queue before they realised it!

Jousting indoors - that sounds nuts! I'd really like to go to Prague some day.

That far end of the hall is the equestrian stairs, and as an ex-rider (as in icon) the steps would have been OK for horses. I suppose the winters in central Europe are cold, and long ... so they can't miss the sport this way

Wouldn't cantering on wooden boards have been slippy for them?

(Sorry for the delay)

They apparently had a sand/earth floor, and it is only more recent that there are now floorboards
