As with all towns, there is always more than one Church ... we went round The Parish Church of St Thomas & St Edmund

The Doom Painting - shows the risen Christ, His desciples, and the judgement of souls into Heaven & Hell.  It was painted somewhere between 1570 & 1600

I don't think I have ever been to Salisbury - it looks like a fascinating place and St Thomas & St Edmund looks like a place I could happily spend two hours or more.

Sorry for the delay - it was a lovely place to visit. It was a lovely city, but quite expensive to visit as you even had to pay to go to the museums!!
