December Meme ... Day 5

Kindle Readers (7 & the doctor)
Day 05 → talk about books this year

As ever have continued to read more Spuffy fan-fic.  There seem to have been a few new writers recently that has really given some great new stories.

I have been reading quite a lot of regency-style romances (like the Georgette Heyer style).  When I packed up all Mum & Dad's books there were a lot  I wanted to read, so while in chaos have downloaded loads onto my Kindle.  Come Christmas (I hope) I shall be able to get back to some proper sets of books again, for example I am looking forward to re-reading the whole Anne of Green Gables series.

I am hoping that the next Dresden Files will be done soon, as that is a series I am enjoying, and re-read the last 3 books this Spring.

Still like to start my day with a Bible reading, at present I am in Leviticus.

I haven't read a regency-style romance in years. They were addictive.

Always loved them!

Aww - Dog Monday sprung to mind.

The first time I read it I remember Mum asking me if I had spotted the advance references in Rainbow Valley about Walter.

I am hopeless with names. I tend to just go on Elysian Fields ... but there are certainly some great new longer stories there on a regular basis.

I don't know any of the new Spuffy writers, have only read a handful of fics this year.

I'm looking forward to the new Dresden Files book *fingers crossed* it comes out early next year, there's no publication date yet as far as I know.

I love reading and re-reading series - and actually bought a copy of Rilla of Ingleside last month, just so I had a copy in the house.

Waiting for that Dresden reminds me why I don't like WIPs! There are quite a few story-lines that I want to know more about.

As I said to Deb, Mum waited till I read Rilla for the first time, before asking me if I had seen all the links about Walter in Rainbow Valley. Yes, it's nice that I now have Mum's full set.
