Anyway, letters posted we walked on to St Loye's Chapel. It was built in the 1380's to serve a local rural mansion and is dedicated to the patron saint of blacksmiths and goldsmiths. After 400 years it fell into diuse and disrepaire, and spent many years as a stable. St Loye's emblem is actually a horseshoe. As you can see it wouldn't give much shelter now, but I love the way it has been left in the middle of this housing estate.






And, of course our intrepid explorer was there to check things out.

In the afternoon I took Jiffy for his regular haircut ... so he looks nice and tidy again. Here he is, in the car ready to go home for dinner
