100 Meme - Film #18

As you know I am doing some of the more obscure films I love in this section of 10. I love the music of WWII and this musical contains quite a few well known songs and music ... as well as a story from the era.

Two Girls and a Sailor is a 1944 musical film about two singing sisters who are helped to set up a canteen to entertain soldiers by a mysterious wealthy admirer. It featured a host of celebrity performances, including Jimmy Durante, Harry James, Gracie Allen, and Lena Horne. Richard Connell and Gladys Lehman. The mysterious millionaire turns out to be Van Johnson.
